REGIONAL STAKEHOLDERS VISIT LANGAGE ENERGY PARK
Following the Great South West Energy Summit, held at Plymouth University, we were very pleased to host regional business and local government representatives at the Langage Energy Park, where our consented green hydrogen scheme is located. Our hydrogen projects director, Eric Adams, who had spoken at the Energy Summit, explained the merits of the scheme and what's required to see it in commercial operation during 2025.
We hosted representatives from organisations including Heart of the South West LEP, Plymouth and South Devon Freeport, the South West Business Council, Plymouth City Council, Devon County Council and the Devon & Plymouth Business Chamber.
Eric Adams said: “The support and encouragement that we’ve received from stakeholders in the region is very welcome. Langage Green Hydrogen is a beacon project for the South West as it fits with the region’s low-carbon ambitions. There is a strong desire in the South West to capitalise on future opportunities – not only in hydrogen, but in floating offshore wind, geothermal energy, energy storage and heat decarbonization.”
